"You can't tell a book by it's cover"....I bought this Orchid from Home Depot. It was in the bargain bin, but looked like it had potential, other than a split leaf and in a cracked pot.......for a whopping $2.99, I gave it a new home. In this past year it has bloomed twice and grown dramatically. I love it, and the beauty it gives.

This weeks homework was to take a portrait in front of a window. After no volunteers I used one of my favorite subjects. She usually doesn't object too much......but as you can see, I guess she does!!
